As brought up by Club Members Dill and Shanksey no 2 about the club supporting an up an coming road racer Dee Crawley that generated a lot of interest we thought it would be a good idea to have a club run to try and raise some funds for Dee, I suggested that we do this by organizing a run to coincide with the annual Newtownards Bike show. This will be leaving Belfast ( time and meeting point to be arranged ) and will go strangford and cross on the ferry ( cost for crossing £3.50 pillion £1.00 ) then on to Newtownards for anyone wishing to call into the show the cost for going on the run would be 5.00 and proceeds will go to Dee.
( note..that the show is on Fri and Sat but the run/ club visit will be on Sat )

Just to confirm that this year our show is definitely on
again and hopefuly bigger and better than ever! Dates and times are:
Friday 19th August 7pm - 10pm
Saturday 20th August 10a.m.- 5pm.
Admission is £5 which includes tea/coffee. Refreshments available both
dates. Friday night we are having an auction of motorcycle/road race
memoribilia. This years' main theme is '50 Years of Honda' and I'm also
trying to recreate the Ace Cafe London in a 'Mods & Rockers' display in
the room where I had the Joey tribute last time. There will be old
Brits, cafe racers, scooters and hopefully a bit of 60's nostalgia too.
(All this on a broken wrist, battered ribs and general 'bashed-
aboutness' where will my talents end??!!!!!!
There will also be some VERY special machines on display, something for
everyone as usual.
I've sent off some posters and flyers in the post. If there's anything
else you need to know just give me a call or e.mail. Look forward to
seeing the lads and lasses again. Thanks for your support as ever.
Cheers
Connor
